I took part in a studio tour at the Factory Arts District with AP Art students from Plainfield High School. It was one of those full-circle moments that made me think back to my own high school art days. We talked about materials, creative problem-solving, and how art teaches us to turn limitations into ideas. My favorite moment: the collective “oooh!” when they found out the work is inspired by archaeology. The work shown is part of my upcoming solo exhibition, Tender Ground opening March 2026 in the Schwitzer Gallery at Factory Arts District.
